Custom QR code with logo and colors

Put your brand’s logo in the middle and pick the colors and dot shape. Every version is read back automatically, so you know right away whether the code still works — before you print a thousand flyers.

Step by step

  1. Pick the QR code type and fill in the content: link, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi, Pix or text.
  2. Under "Appearance", choose the colors and the shape of the dots and corners.
  3. Add your logo and adjust its size.
  4. Check the scan badge and download as PNG or SVG.

Why a QR code with a logo still works

Every QR code has built-in redundancy called error correction. At the highest level (H), up to 30% of the code can be covered or damaged and it still scans. The logo uses part of that spare room.

That is why adding a logo automatically raises error correction to H, and the logo is capped at a quarter of the code’s width — the point past which codes start to fail.

The automatic scan test

Colors that are too light, dots that are too small or a large logo can make a code unreadable, and most generators never tell you. Here, every version is read back by a QR reader in your browser, on the exact image you are about to download.

If the reader cannot read it, the tool says so and suggests what to change. The test is stricter than a modern phone camera, so a code that passes here tends to work on any device — but always test the printed version too.

Colors that work

The reader needs a clear difference between the code and the background. A dark code on a light background is the safest. A brand color works if it is dark enough; pastel shades tend to fail.

A light code on a dark background (an inverted QR) looks good, but many readers do not recognize it. The tool warns you when contrast is low or the colors are inverted.

No expiry date

The code is static: the content is stored in the image and depends on no server. It never expires and has no scan limit. Your logo never leaves your browser either.

When to use it

  • Restaurant menus with the house logo
  • Business cards and branded material
  • Product packaging and labels
  • Pix signs and WhatsApp QR codes in your shop’s colors
  • Invitations and event material

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a logo to a QR code?

Fill in the content, open "Appearance" and click "Add a logo". The logo goes in the middle, error correction goes to the maximum and the scan badge confirms whether the code still reads.

Does a QR code with a logo work on every phone?

It does when the logo is not too large and the contrast is good. The automatic test reads every version before download; even so, test the printed version with two or three phones.

Can I use any color?

You can, but the code must be much darker than the background. The tool warns you when contrast is low or when the code is lighter than the background, the two cases where readers fail most.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no limit on codes. The PNG goes up to 2048 pixels and the SVG is vector, suitable for print shops.

Does a custom QR code expire?

No. The content is stored in the code itself, which depends on no server. It works for as long as the content — the link, for example — works.
